The human form, male and female, has long been a fascination to me. The subtlety of movement can often be more powerful than the grand gesture. The line of an arm or leg extends the movement from the work creating shapes and spaces that expand beyond the sculpture. Modeling for bronze as I do usually in wax, enables a spontaneity that I have not found in another medium and allows for a greater flow of emotion to be portrayed and often whimsy or humor surfaces. I enjoy this process enormously.
